We have tried to do an H1B visa update for the probably millions around the world who would like to find employment in the US and look to the H1B visa as their gateway. However in recent months there really has not been much too report if your read our updates in H1B Visa June and H1B Visa July.
And sadly there is not much else to report now in August as there have been no real updates from the United States Customs and Immigration Service (USCIS) in a while. On the other hand the remaining H1B visa quota has been virtually unchanged since May so that means for all the foreigners out there, that approximately 20,000 H1B visas are still available for FY2010.
However time is now a premium as the US Immigration year ends on September 30, which means applications must be received, processed and approved before that date. Also it means that you as a foreign applicant must have either applied for your US visa prior to this date at a foreign US consulate or transferred your status if you are within the US and on a visa like the F1 Visa or J1 Visa.
Good Luck to everyone still hunting and I just hope that your potential employers take advantage of things like Premium Processing with the USCIS given time is now running out.
